As the System Admin you want to add the Time Clock component to the Home Page for Users to clock in and out.
Permissions are based on Profiles. The Time Clock has to be added as a component to the Home Page Layout and then assigned to all desired profiles.
Begin by clicking Setup. Type "Home Page" in the quick find search.
Click Home Page Components to assure the Time Clock feature is available for use.
If you do not see the Time Clock under Custom Components, contact support at email@example.com to request the feature be installed in your org.
Select Home Page Layouts. Click the Page Layout Assignment button.
Click Edit Assignments button.
Select the layout Dashboard Home Page Default to include the Time Clock component for all desired profiles.
The Time Clock will be located in the Side Bar. A collapsible Side Bar will need to be expanded in order to see the Time Clock feature.
